Samsung turns the Galaxy Z Flip 4 into a giant claw machine with prizes

Samsung has built the world’s largest claw machine using the Galaxy Z Flip 4 foldable phone as a design reference. Located in Utrecht, Netherlands, the giant claw machine will be open from today throughout the weekend, and visitors will have a chance to play the claw machine game and win Galaxy prizes.

Samsung has literally transformed the Galaxy Z Flip 4’s design into an amusement park attraction. The claw machine stands 10-meters tall and has a width of 8.5 meters — truly, the world’s largest. The claw is shaped like an oversized Galaxy Z Flip 4, which visitors can control to try their luck at grabbing Galaxy devices from a pool of prizes.

When and what can you win playing Samsung’s giant claw machine?

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 claw machine is located between the entrance of Hoog Catharijne and Utrecht Central Station in the Netherlands.

The machine is open today, September 22, between 2-6 PM. Visitors will also get a chance to play the game on Friday, September 23, between 10 AM and 6 PM, and on Saturday, September 24, from 10 AM to 2 PM.

The best part is that players controlling the giant Galaxy Z Flip 4 claw machine can try their luck at grabbing and winning Galaxy tablets, wireless earbuds, smartwatches, and even the Galaxy Z Flip 4 itself — regular size, of course. And it doesn’t seem like players have to pop in a quarter to try their luck and dexterity at the claw game.

Samsung released the Galaxy Z Flip 4 in the Netherlands last month. The 128GB variant is available for €1,099, while the 256GB and 512GB models cost €1,159 and €1,279, respectively. Prospective buyers can choose from four standard color options or pay a little extra to gain access to the Bespoke Studio, which allows them to customize the foldable phone using dozens of color combinations. Feel free to check out our Galaxy Z Flip 4 review and video below for a closer look at Samsung’s most successful foldable phone yet.
